Group Discussion & Creative Writing
Group discussions play a crucial role in group communication. They are a dynamic and creative endeavor that fosters thoughtful contemplation among participants and allow them to pool their knowledge, ideas, and perspectives to find solutions to a particular problem, topic or challenge.
Clean Green & Hygiene Drive
Higher Education Department, South Punjab has taken a policy initiative in this direction that is named “Clean, Green and Hygienic Drive in Colleges of South Punjab” which provides a model of work processes to be participated by both teachers and students to put joint efforts for creating a clean, green and hygienically sound.
Wall of Pride
Wall of Pride is a unique initiative of the Higher Education Department, South Punjab that aims to create a link between the Alma Mater and its prominent and successful alumni. The personalities to place on this wall are to be selected from different walks of life, e.g. Holders of national awards, Scholars, famous Writers/Poets/Artists/Players, Judiciary.
South Punjab Cultural Festival
First ever South Punjab Literary & Cultural Festival (SPLCF) culminated with different sessions on different forms of literature, including dialogue, poetic sitting, comedy show and qawwali and sufi nights. The festival began inaguration of spring flowers show at Qasim Bagh Fort Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab, Saqib Zafar opened it.
Digital Library
Establishment of digital libraries in South Punjab public colleges is another big initiative. The main aim is to provide the recorded lectures laterly to the students which will help them to build up their better understandings to the lessons. Initially, a pilot project is going to start in one male and one female college of south punjab.
Provision of Safe & Clean Drinking Water
South Punjab is comprising of area in which provision of clean and safe drinking water is a critical challenge. There are almost 215 public sector colleges in South Punjab. The HED, South Punjab has taken the initiative for the provision of safe and clean drinking water to its youth coming in the Public sector colleges of the south punjab.
